Capture without the busywork
Scan a barcode, photograph a cover or household object, search by title, or import the collection you already keep.
Your collection. Your home. One record.
Stowcase turns physical collections and household possessions into a detailed, searchable inventory. Capture items quickly, track each real-world copy, understand value, keep proof, and export a record that is ready when you need it.
Stowcase is currently invite-only. There are no open sign-ups.
More than a catalog
A title list cannot tell you which pressing you own, what you paid, where it is, who borrowed it, or what evidence supports its value. Stowcase connects those details to the actual copy, then gives you the tools to search, understand, share, move, insure, and eventually pass on the collection.
How it works
Scan a barcode, photograph a cover or household object, search by title, or import the collection you already keep.
Confirm the match, then record the edition, condition, location, value, serial number, documents, and notes for your exact copy.
Find anything, track loans and wishlists, review collection insights, share selectively, or export an insurance-ready inventory.
Built to stay useful
Use continuous barcode scanning for a stack of media, image identification for a difficult cover, or bulk imports from Discogs, Goodreads, Blu-ray.com, CSV, and Excel.
Track format, edition, region, packaging, condition, purchase details, location, personal notes, and the other facts that distinguish one copy from another.
See market-based estimates where data is available, compare condition bands, and keep your own purchase price, replacement cost, or appraisal alongside them.
Keep receipts, appraisals, serial photos, and other proof with the object they support instead of searching through a separate folder when it matters.
Manage wishlists, convert wanted titles into owned copies, track loans and returns, organize box sets, log activity, and keep an Up next queue.
Explore collection patterns, publish a searchable profile only when you choose, and export your data as CSV, Excel, or JSON whenever you need it.
Whole-home inventory
Collectors already understand the value of a precise record. Stowcase applies that same care to the television, sofa, jewelry, tools, art, and every other possession an insurer, mover, executor, or family member may one day ask about.
Point the camera at a television, appliance, ring, or tool. Stowcase identifies it, chooses a collection, and suggests a replacement cost and serial number when the photo supports one.
Choose the room once, confirm four focused fields, and return to the camera after every save. The workflow is designed for finishing the inventory, not admiring an empty template.
The identification photo is saved as each item’s default private image, visible only to you.
Electronics, appliances, furniture, jewelry, watches, art, instruments, tools, collectibles, and physical media live in one searchable system.
Insurance report
Stowcase turns the catalog you already keep into a room-by-room schedule with descriptions, values, serial numbers, appraisals, and supporting documents. Review the total, close the missing-value gaps, and keep an evidence package somewhere safe before a loss makes the work urgent.
Add up the values you have recorded and compare that number with the personal-property coverage on your policy.
Unvalued items are counted and surfaced so you know exactly where the record is incomplete.
Jewelry, watches, art, instruments, coins, and collectibles are totaled separately to help you start the right conversation with your insurer.
Create a room-by-room PDF, a working CSV, or a ZIP bundle with the report and every receipt, appraisal, and supporting document you attached.
Sub-limits vary by insurer, by state and by endorsement, and nothing here knows the terms of your policy. The report is a prompt to go and check it. Read the insurance guide →
